How to perfectly configure every stop in the Editor.
To ensure the transportation system works smoothly, the Editor allows for these specific scenarios:
- Boarding or pick up: The act of getting onto a vehicle.
- Alighting or drop off: The act of getting off a vehicle.
Scenario Summary:
- Regular Stops: Passengers can both get on and off freely. 🔄
- Terminal Stops: Passengers can only get off (no new boardings). 🚪
- Pre-paid Stops: Tickets must be purchased before the vehicle arrives. 💳
- Scheduled Stops: Boarding is restricted to those with prior reservations. 📝
🛠️ The Editor: Setting Your Stop Types
In the Editor, you can customize the Boarding Type for every single stop. You find the boarding type on the stop sequence tab.:
🔄 The Two-Column System (Boarding vs. Alighting)
The Editor screen features 2 columns labeled (Type). Understanding these is key to a functional map:
- First Column: Refers to Boarding/Pick up (Getting on the vehicle). ⬆️
- Second Column: Refers to Alighting/Drop Off (Getting off the vehicle). ⬇️
Common Scenarios:
- Standard Stop: If both boarding and alighting are allowed, select "Regular" for both columns. 🟢
- Drop-off Only: If passengers can only get off (like at a terminal), select "Regular" for the second column and "Unavailable" for the first. 🏁
- Boarding Only: If passengers can only get on the bus, select "Regular" for the first column and "Unavailable" for the second. 🏁

Here is a breakdown of what each option means:
