On a monthly basis, the Moovit Team looks at the most meaningful contributions done by Mooviters and awards them with Moovit coins. These coins can be then exchanged in our Community Store for swag available exclusively to our Community.
So if you are among the most active mappers in our Editor, or you are quickly rising through the ranks of our Community, expect coins coming your way!
Every month you will get a chance to gain more coins. You can save them or you can spend them all - it’s up to you!
👛 Who can get coins?
Among others, we will give out coins once a month to:
- The top active Mooviters in the past month
- Mooviters that were promoted to a higher editing level in the Editor in the past month
- New Ambassadors
💲 How many coins Mooviters get?
Each Mooviter can get between 1 and 20 coins, and the rewards are cumulative. Example: A user that reached Level 3 in the Editor, joined the Ambassador program, and was the top Mooviter of the month will get 3 sets of coins on that month.
🔑💻 How can I redeem my coins and access the store?
- The Community Team will send you a form asking to share your name and email with the gift provider.
- Once we get a positive answer, the Community Team transfers the coins to you.
- You will then be able to log in to the store’s website with the email provided and see your credit.
📧 Who provides support in case there are issues?
The gift provider handles any support-related issues, including shipping issues. They can be reached out at firstname.lastname@example.org
💰 Will I be taxed at customs for gifts that come from abroad?
We expect custom issues to be reduced to the minimum. We will always aim to ship from the closest place to the destination possible, avoiding import fees. In case there are issues, please reach out to the support channel.
📆💸 Do the coins expire?
At the moment, there is no expiration on the coins. You don't need to spend them straight away. You can save them if you want to get a more expensive gift. If this changes, we will inform you beforehand so you can decide what to do.
📝 Is the store going to be localized into several languages?
Unfortunately, there is no support for different languages at the moment. We recommend using translation tools from your browser in the meantime.
🛒 I want to shop in the store, but I don’t have any coins.
In case you don’t have coins, but you want to shop in our store anyway, please contact your Community Manager under the button “Need Help?” in the Editor.
