The Ministry of Transport is launching a new fares revolution and Moovit users are especially benefiting from it! Ride as many times you want to wherever you want and at the end of the month - Moovit will calculate the best rates for you.
Using Moovit for public transit payments means you don’t have to commit to a distance, a certain amount of trips or even a transit type in advance - you ride, we’ll make sure you pay the best rates for your use.
Daily Pass
Daily passes and single rides are determined, based on their distance. See the table below for fares, divided into colors, for convenience.
The final daily fare is calculated at the end of each day, based on that day's rides and the transit type you used for them. What we do is
- Tally all the single-ride fares (all rides taken within 90 minutes and 15 km from the origin point are counted as one)
- Check the fare for daily passes for each area you traveled in that day
- Compare the sums
- Bill you for the best* option - single fares or a daily pass

Nationwide Unlimited Monthly Pass
This monthly pass will allow you to travel around the country with buses, light rail lines, the Carmelit, Metronit and Rachbalit unlimited times for an unlimited distance for a fixed price of 225 NIS (unless your profile is eligible for discounts).
If you want to add Israel Railways trains to your monthly travels, you’ll need to add an additional fee, based on the travel distances of your train rides.
Regional Unlimited Monthly Pass
Those of you who don’t need to travel around the center of Israel and the main metropolitan areas (including Haifa and Jerusalem) have the option of buying a Regional Monthly pass. This pass allows travel of up to 40 km from your origin point for only 99 NIS.
Eilat Unlimited Monthly Pass
People who travel in and around Eilat can get an unlimited pass for rides for up to 40 km for 84.60 a month.
Each month we’ll calculate all your daily rides, areas and transit types, and bill you for the best* options. The billing cycles are between the 25th of each month at 4:00 and the 24th of the next month at 3:59.
90-Minute Transfers
Riders** who need to switch lines en route enjoy a 90 minute free transfer pass (up to 15 km). This is valid across the entire country.

Profile Discounts
If you're eligible for a discount on public transit rides (e.g. seniors, students, etc.), choose the correct rider profile to get it, and upload documents to activate the profile.

Important to Know
Your Profile is personal, and every extra person you validate a ride for - will be charged full price, and not your discounted fare.
Children up to the age of 5 ride for free.
