- Lines: These represent the routes that public transportation vehicles travel regularly. For example, "Bus Line 10" or "Red Line Subway."
- Trips: A single journey of a vehicle along a specific line. A line typically has multiple trips throughout the day, each with its own schedule and potentially slight variations in stops.
- Stops: These are the designated locations where passengers board and alight from public transportation vehicles. Examples include bus stops, train stations, and tram stops.
- Departure Times: This refers to the scheduled times at which a vehicle departs from each stop on a particular trip. It forms the basis of the public transportation schedule.
- Interval Times: This refers to the estimated time it takes for a vehicle to travel between two consecutive stops on a route.
