Once you are in the Stop sequence you will be able to start adding the stops in a trip!
Here we will share some useful tips and tricks to make your mapping experience better:
- Use the zoom-in and zoom-out buttons to find specific locations on the map.
- Use the search box to locate stops, neighborhoods, or landmarks in a city.
- Style: Select the correct background map and mapping functions according to your needs.
- You can choose between Map, OSM, OSM Light, or Satellite view. In most cities throughout the world, OSM is the background map of the app. Therefore it is recommended to use OSM as the background map of the Editor.
- Layers: You can select what layer you would like to have in the background: Stops, Stops sequence, GTFS shape, App shape
- Agencies: This useful filter will show only the stops that are being used by the selected agency. To help you identify the stops and agency you would like to see, we added the Transit type so you will make sure you select the right one.
- Once you select an Agency it will give you more options like:
- Show hub stations & group of stops
- Show unused stops
- To see the exact location of a stop, use street view to check. Click on the X to return to the background map.
