“Understanding Moderation Edits: What Users Need to Know"
- Moderation Approval Process:
- Automatic Approvals: For users with a level 3 or higher, some moderation submissions may be automatically approved.
- Pending Review: Other moderations require a manual review by the Moovit team before they can be approved or rejected. During this review phase, the submission is locked and cannot be edited. (Agency changes will always go to Moderation regardless of your level)
- Locked Submissions:
- Once a moderation is saved and enters either the automatic approval workflow or the manual review queue, the submission can no longer be edited by the user.
- It is important to double-check and verify all information before saving a moderation to minimize the need for later edits.
- Post-Approval Edits:
- If your moderation is approved automatically or by the Moovit team, and you notice an error or an update is needed, you must wait until the project is updated and the moderation is reflected.
- In Case of Rejection:
- Should the moderation be rejected, users will then have the opportunity to make necessary edits. The rejection will come with feedback that users can use as a guide for revisions.
- Best Practices:
- To ensure that moderations go smoothly, prepare all changes thoroughly before saving.
- Keep a log of the changes submitted in case future edits are needed (not mandatory!, just a suggestion for big or temporal changes)
- Make use of the Moovit community or support channels if you have questions or need guidance before submitting a moderation (The project Wall, Ambassadors, the Moovit team)
