In the editor, it's possible to edit the boarding type for each stop:
-
- Regular: Boarding allowed
- Unavailable: Boarding not allowed (e.g., last stop of the line)
- Call to buy...: Cannot purchase ticket after boarding. User must purchase ticket beforehand.
- Schedule required...: Typically used for specific lines that require prior scheduling.
In the editor, there are 2 columns (Type), the first referring to boarding and the second to alighting.
- If both boarding and alighting are allowed at the stop, select the "Regular" option for both columns.
- If only boarding is allowed at the stop, select the "Regular" option for the first column and "Unavailable" for the second column.
This passage describes how to set the boarding and alighting options for each stop within a transportation system using a specific editing tool.
- Boarding: Getting on a vehicle.
- Alighting: Getting off a vehicle.
The editor allows users to define different scenarios:
- Regular stops: Passengers can both get on and off the vehicle.
- Terminal stops: Passengers can only get off the vehicle (boarding is not allowed).
- Pre-paid stops: Passengers must purchase tickets before boarding.
- Scheduled stops: Boarding is restricted to passengers with prior reservations.
