To allow Moovit to continue operating as a free service, we have integrated ads into the mobile app experience.
In response to requests from users who prefer an ad-free experience, we are now offering the option of a paid subscription. The feature is enabled for Android users with version 5.91 or higher and iOS users with 5.92 or higher.
Steps to subscribe to Moovit to avoid seeing ads in the app:
- Tap the menu icon (3 lines at the top of the screen)
- Tap “Ad-Free Version”
- Select the plan you’d like to subscribe to (1 month, 3 months or 12 months)
- Confirm the purchase and complete it
- Enjoy an ad-free experience!
What are the differences between the subscription plans that will be available?
All the plans allow you to use the ad-free version of the app.
You can choose the best billing cycle for you – the longer the cycle, the lower the cost-per-month.
How do I see my next payment and payment method?
All the subscriptions are managed through your app store, and you can easily see all the information there (next payment date, sum, payment method, etc).
For Google: Google Account > Payments and subscriptions > Find subscriptions > Manage Subscriptions > Tap Date of renewal. Once in the play store, you can see your next billing and your payment method.
For iOS: App Store > My Account > Subscriptions > Under the Active title: Select Moovit. You will see your next billing cycle and payment method.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app store:
For Google: Google Account > Payments and subscriptions > Find subscriptions > Manage Subscriptions > Tap Date of renewal. Once in the app store, you can cancel your subscription.
For iOS: App Store > My Account > Subscriptions > Under the Active title: Tap Moovit > Cancel.
Your subscription – and payment – will stop at the end of your current billing cycle. (See: how to see next billing cycle).
I got a new phone – how do I restore my subscription?
Since the subscription is managed through the app store – it’s already linked to you.
Follow the same steps as when you first joined: Tap on the menu icon > “Ad-Free Version” > then tap on “Restore purchase”. This will restore your original subscription with the same billing cycle as before.
Does deleting my Moovit account cancel my subscription?
No. To cancel your subscription you will need to go to the App Store or Google Account, as detailed above.
